Who is eligible to participate in the PACE programs?

PACEpilot Applications received and/or submitted by March 12th will incur the standard fee of (USD) $1,000.

If you are paying by check or there are special circumstances related to your entry fee, please contact Lyndsey Walworth, the PACE program administrator (313-446-6041 or lwalworth@autonews.com)

Can I submit multiple entries?

Yes.  Traditionally, several companies have made multiple entries and use the PACE Awards program as a means of independently gauging the innovation performance of individual business units.

The on-line application process facilitates multiple entries by offering a Web based mechanism for team editing and reviewing.  The person who enters the original application in the system can invite other team members to participate in developing the PACE Award application.

It is up to the applying companies to decide whether and how to coordinate their applications.  In practice, a central coordinator can start the applications for all of the companies' innovation applications and bring in editors/reviewers from the individual business units.  Alternatively, each business unit can initiate individual applications and send invitations to a corporate coordinator to review/edit prior to submission.

This is my first time submitting an application, how do I ensure I am doing it correctly?

The first recommendation is to have an independent internal review of your application by a small team of senior technical and commercial executives from outside your application team, but still within your company.

As a first time applicant, if you still have questions and need clarification, please contact Lyndsey Walworth, the Automotive News PACE program administrator (Phone: +1 313-446-6041 / lwalworth@autonews.com
